Enteric Pathogens Isolated from the Flooded Area in Seoul City(August 1972)

Abstract

|
Bacteriological survey was performed with the 81 seweage specimens taken from the flooded areas in Seoul City (Young; dungpo-Ku, Yongsan-Ku, Mapo-Ku, Seongdong-Ku and Seodaemoon-Ku) during August, 1972.
Thirteen strains of enteric pathogens were isolated. from their specimens of the 13´ strains of isolates, 5 strains of Salmonella species, 6 strains of Shigella and 2 strains of Vibrio parahaemolyticus were confirmed by means of biological, biochemial and serological test, respectively.
